What beautiful photographs Jason. You have caught the light, the colours and all the delicate details. This post will bring cheer to all the hearts that enter here. Many congratulations on your excellence and consistency. All good wishes, Silvana.
Thanks for your lovely comments Silvana. It was such a great shoot and David and Lynne are doing such a wonderful job keeping these wonderful primroses going
These are beautiful Jason. I love how you’ve captured the light especially with that 2nd photograph as a gardener aswell as a photographer I’ve fallen for that Hose in Hose pink one. Last year I bought a mix of primula like this only they were called Primula Greensleeves but oh how remarkably similar they are to many of the ones you photographed. To tell you the truth I bought them more for photography rather than for the garden as I’m running out of room!.
Hi Rosie, yes I agree the Polyanthus ‘Hose-in-hose is a particularly beautiful one. It was like being in a sweet shop on this shoot, so many varieties to choose from. I highly recommend you trying to visit Barnhaven if you are ever in Brittany, you will not be disappointed. Many thanks for your comments.
Absolutely gorgeous pictures! They look so alive. You have captured them so well.
That’s very kind of you, glad you enjoyed the post
